This genealogical work forms the central pillar from which the histories and teachings are extracted for Te Whare Auturoa creating a living reality for participants.
As a reference tool this work weaves the binds that ultimately bind all the major tribes of Aotearoa, New Zealand and their associated Waka.
Primary focus has been upon the condensing of lines into Te Tairaawhiti through the lines of Toi te Huatahi, Iro Nui, Te Ira Whaaki, Uenuku Whakarongo, Turi, Kupe, Hauniaaparangi, Hoturoa, Tamakitekapua, Ruawaipu, Ruataupare, Paikea, Porourangi, Tahupootiki, Hauiti, Rongowhakaata, Ruapani, Mahaki, Taamanuhiri, Kahungunu, Rongomaiwahine and their respective whanau.
Through the eventual introduction of both Spanish and English bloodlines into the Authors Whakapapa followed by successive American, Scottish and Irish bloodlines a unique DNA tapestry now forms strands of the fabrics from which the Cloaks of Te Tairaawhiti Rangatiratangata are woven.
